Good Citizens Society holds dishonest companies accountable and works for positive change. We are shoppers, customers and small businesses who want companies to deal honestly.
Founded by Ron Berrett, an Oregon entrepreneur and owner of LinenTablecloth.com, Festive Hill Winery and PartyHowz. His family has worked in event and catering since 1954.
LinenTablecloth.com was overbilled by UPS by millions, then sued by UPS for money Ron believes it did not deserve. It has since come out that UPS was willing to pay between $3.5 and $10 million, a fact Ron says his attorney hid from him.
In his experience, UPS has billed shippers for inaccurate package dimensions and weights, and for packages it never received or shipped.
